One
Year — Increase Free!
For policies sold in 2003, UA has increased its standard four month
waiting period on implementing new policy rate increases to 12
months for the states and plan codes listed below. We are able to do
this because of a favorable experience — low claims — on these
plans. Policies sold in 2003, but not effective until 2004 when the
applicant turns 65, are not eligible.

Attn:
Underage Health Agents
As previously communicated, RIP calls on Underage Health Plans became
part of the regular application procedure on Jan. 1, 2003. All
Underage Health applications must include an Authorization for
Application Verification.
In most cases, this authorization is located on
the back of the application near the Bank Draft Authorization. Some
plans including the CS1, HSXC,
SHXC, and the MMXC
do not have this authorization pre-printed. Please complete Form
LPV-97 and attach it to all Underage Health applications that do not
have the Authorization pre-printed on the brochure.
